Floating on Air?
Well, I'm off to a good start this week. My bosses are in Las Vegas and the first of the year lull is on the horizon. Surf's up....
I found this awesome video of a Science Experiment called 'Ship floating on nothing!'
"What they have is Sulfur hexafluoride. It's 5.11 times as dense as air. It's non toxic, although it's byproducts can be extremely dangerous.
Another interesting point is that inhaling this gas will make your voice sound deeper. Sound does not travel as fast in this medium. Helium can transmit sound very rapidly, hence making your voice squeaky."

I also found an addicting game called 'Flash Element TD'.
The object of the game it to build fortifications so the invaders cannot make it to kill you people. Ya, that sounds lame. I guess you'll have to trust me.

I came across this article about the 'tailrace tunnel of Niagara'.
Apparently sometime in the early 20th century someone gave a go at creating an energy plant at Niagara Falls.
Some guys found out about it and made it their mission to visit the site and see if they could get to the backside of the falls from inside the tunnels.
Yes, they made it in to the tunnels but that's all I'm going to tell you. Check out the site to find out the rest.
