Monday again!!!

Well I had a really great weekend. To start things off BYU beat TCU and UTAH lost to Boise State. Plus my daughters soccer team scored at will in their AYSO U-10 game. [It must be the coaching]. This weekend was general conference and I got to sleep in and attend church in my pajamas!!!!!!!

I had trouble posting again and I have lost some info I was going to post. Oh well, I didn't have much time to surf anyway....

I did well with my picks over the weekend.

Although I was only 6-2, I still had the best picks out of everyone. Three were 4-4 and three were 3-5. Dan is on top at 33-7 or 82.5% but I moved up two spots with 31-9 overall. Our previous leader, Justin, has dropped into a tie for second place at 31-9. Again, thanks to everyone who played.

I love this picture by David J. Nightingale, of Chromasia, called 'Heaven can wait'.

It looks more like a painting than a photograph.

I liked this article about 'The top 10 ugliest, most embarrassing fashion trends of the past 25 years'.

Here they are:
10) Shoulder Pads
9) Hats that don't fit/bandanna under the hat
8) Leg Warmers
7) Shirts with stupid sayings on them
6) Zubaz
5) Half Shirts / half sweaters / half jackets
4) Parachute Pants
3) Spandex bodysuits
2) Baggy Pants/clothes that are falling off
1) Grills

I have to admit I am related to people who have worn most of these 'fashion trends'!!!

I was checking out a site with 'U.S. Historical City Maps' when I came across this one of Ogden in 1917.

These were in the days before my home was built and before The Trotter's could follow this map to their home in Huntsville. My home was built in 1939 about where the Southern point of the compass lays on this map.

That's all for today.
