What was lost now is found

No picks, no blog.

No picks and no blog makes Mat a very dull boy.

I'm a homer when it comes to BYU football.

Last night, we went up the canyon to watch my oldest son play a soccer game and then received his Tenderfoot and Second Class. This was a proud moment for me. I also presented an Eagle to one of my scouts. He earned it over two years ago but has finally decided to receive it before he turns his papers in. He gave me the mentor pin that came with his award. I am really touched he did this. It really means a lot to me. I have had many rewarding experiences with all of those guys, it's hard to see them turn the page in their lives and leave me behind.

I surfed a little today....

I read an article in SI about the '10 Most Feared NFL Players'

10. Rodney Harrison - Strong Safety, Patriots
9. Jason Short - Special Teams Gunner, Eagles
8. Lorenzo Neal - Fullback, Chargers
7. Keith Brooking - Middle Linebacker, Falcons
6. Roy Williams - Strong Safety, Cowboys
5. Anquan Boldin - Receiver, Cardinals
4. Keith Bulluck - Outside Linebacker, Titans
3. Ray Lewis - Middle Linebacker, Ravens
2. Olin Kreutz - Center, Bears
1. Joey Porter - Outside Linebacker, Steelers

I am really out of the loop with the NFL. I only recognize one of these players. I really picked this article because I loved the picture of Joey Porter.

Stolen Munch paintings found safe

'The Scream' and another stolen masterpiece by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch were recovered by police on Thursday, two years after gunmen seized the paintings from an Oslo museum.

They make movies about this kind of stuff.

Check out this cool drawing of a 'Never Ending Zoom'

It's a little hard to read but in the text on the picture toward the bottom it says 'click here to start'. Once it is loaded just hold down your mouse and move up or down to see it zoom in or out.

This reminds me of dreams I have when I am sick.

I'm sure you have seen these chalk art paintings by Julian Beever. If you haven't you don't get around on the web very often.

Julian Beever has made pavement drawings for over ten years.

His unique use of perspective allows his drawing to appear three dimensional.

These works of art can only be view properly from one direction.

woot, here is a cross-over. Street art and Comics.

Once the street sweepers come or the rain falls these picture are all that's left of his masterpieces.

There is a new show on NBC this fall that has caught my eye.

I wonder how long it will last.

I beat the game but my screen capture didn't survive.
