Short but sweet

Did I mention it's the most wonderful time of the year? Kids are back in school, Kick-off in next weekend. I've got the blue fever and I've got it bad.

This is going to be a short post today. Hottest day of the month and I was stuck working instead of surfing....

This time of year the Princeton Review puts out its rankings of the top 'Party Schools and the 'Stone Cold Sober' Schools.

TOP 10 PARTY SCHOOLS
      1. University of Texas at Austin
      2. Penn State University
      3. West Virginia University
      4. University of Wisconsin-Madison
      5. University of Mississippi
      6. Ohio University
      7. University of Massachusetts-Amherst
      8. Louisiana State University
      9. University of Iowa
      10. University of California, Santa Barbara

TOP 10 'STONE COLD SOBER' SCHOOLS
      1. Brigham Young University
      2. Wheaton College
      3. College of the Ozarks
      4. Grove City College
      5. U.S. Naval Academy
      6. U.S. Coast Guard Academy
      7. U.S. Air Force Academy
      8. Queens College
      9. Wellesley College
      10. Calvin College

It isn't surprising that BYU topped the sober list again.

Sticking with football I was reading an article on ESPN about 'College Football Favorites'. In this case the Favorites are College Football stadiums and their settings and atmosphere.

1. Tiger Stadium, LSU
2. Notre Dame Stadium, Notre Dame
3. Michigan Stadium, Michigan
4. Memorial Stadium, Nebraska
5. Husky Stadium, Washington
6. Neyland Stadium, Tennessee
7. Autzen Stadium, Oregon
8. Camp Randall Stadium, Wisconsin
9. LaVelle Edwards Stadium, BYU
10. Sun Devil Stadium, Arizona State

Of course LaVelle Edwards made the list. I have a feeling it would have ranked higher if BYU wasn't so Stone Cold Sober, but if the availability of alcohol helped with position the U of U should have ranked higher.

If you want to see a great picture of the New York City skyline at dusk check this out.

I read this article and apparently, 'German astronomers produce original Apollo TV tapes'

I came across this site 'YouTube - a coverpop' by jim bumgardner. It is a mosaic of images. When you mouse over them a picture and synopsis of the video pop-up.

This is a neat idea but I'm not sure how functional it is.

I pulled this out of my bookmarks. It is the 'Warning Sign Generator'.

[At least I tried]
