Friday?

Well work has finally caught up with me. I have been buried for the last two days. I am putting together databases for junk mail from our clients. [Don't worry all the lists are from back East, Texas or California.] I have tickets to go to the BYU game on Saturday, they are playing UNLV. It should be a blowout but I will get to spend time with my parents and brother and my oldest son.

It's a shallow pool today, I didn't have much time to surf...

I have become a big Stephen Colbert fan. Lately this is the only way I have been able to listen to the news. Colbert has a segment called, 'You're On Notice!'. Today I found this image generator called, 'The Stephen Colbert "On Notice Board" Generator'.

-------------------

I'm not sure how I came across this but once I saw it I felt like I should post 'The best (and worst) lines in the history of film.'

The Best One-Liners
Where to start? Or, indeed, finish? As an example of the script-writer's genius, the classic one-liner is unbeatable. We all have our favorites, and the best of them need no context, so just read and appreciate this small sample:

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" - Dr Strangelove (1964)
"Benjamin, I am not trying to seduce you." - The Graduate (1967)
"Love means never having to say you're sorry." - Love Story (1970)
"I'll make him an offer he can't refuse." - The Godfather (1972)
"Use the force, Luke." - Star Wars (1977)
"Go ahead, make my day." - Sudden Impact (1983)
"I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way." - Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
"I'll have what she's having." - When Harry Met Sally (1989)
"To infinity - and beyond!" - Toy Story (1995)

Treasurably bad lines:
"At least they won't be using heroin-flavored bananas to finance revolutions." - Goldfinger (1964)
"If I can change, and you can change, then we can all change." - Rocky 4 (1985)
"You can be my wingman any time." - Top Gun (1986)
"I love you, Flash, but we only have 14 hours to save the Earth." - Flash Gordon (1986)
"I love you. You complete me." - Jerry Maguire (1996)
"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum." - They Live (1988)

I admit I love that quote from ''Rowdy' Roddy Piper'. I'm sure he used that in the squared-circle!!

Speaking of Rowdy Piper...

...my favorite Kilt wearing WWF world champion wrestler would love this new product called the 'Utili-Kilt'.

This new line of kilts are built for everyday wear while on the Job Site!

On second thought maybe a kilt on a construction site isn't a good idea.

One of the customers of the site bought a regular kilt and had his picture taken in it at Mushroom Rocks in Arches National Park, Utah.

This ad for the 'Sony Bravia' has been floating around the Internet for a while.

This is an ad that catches you eye, I have never seen anything like it before.

Here is another great ad I saw for Bic permanent markers.

Now that's an effective ad!!
