I thought 400 blog views would get me into the top 100 myspace blogs, but no luck there. I am just some dude who blogs to his brother and sister. I'm OK with that. My blog worth is $547, but I hear on the street it is so addicting that people have withdrawals when I don't post.

I have decided that I really need a good digital camera and an Ipod for my new Levi's. I am also looking for an orange Hawaiian shirt and an artoo potatoo. I may cash in the big bucks for these.

My oldest son registered for middle school last week. While we were registering there were about 100 people in the building. Out of all these people there were only three 6th graders who were white. I felt like I was back in Tijuana and I couldn't find the border.

I found a plethora of stuff while surfing today....

There is this lady [Jasmine Zimmerman] who makes street art in NYC.

She likes to take rubber bands and tie them together.

Then she stretches them over a public walkways with the intent of people running into them.

Better than graffiti.

Check out this store called 'KIDS REPUBLIC' it is a children's bookstore in Beijing.

This is what libraries in elementary schools should look like.

Wonder Girl meets the Teen Titans.

This is another crossover for me. My love of cartoons and BYU football.

This is a reference to all of the Homers who think BYU is on pace with the legendary teams of the past. In other words this could be me.

Tired of your commute? Take the Subway.

I found a great site with Free High-Resolution Widescreen Wallpaper.

ooooooooooh!

aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh [Devils Tower, Mammoth, Yellowstone]

splat-O-riffic with a capitol wOw.

Were it not for the man on the moon I would get one of these babies.

Speaking of the man on the moon. NASA has made 'One giant blunder for mankind'

The linked article explains 'how NASA lost moon pictures'.
-------------

To keep in this tangent. Did you know that there is a piece of art on the moon?

It was left there during the original visit to the moon.

[huh! man on the moon? read my earlier posts]

It is that time of year to start thinking about costumes for Halloween. "What", you say. I'm talking about the over the top costumes. Not recycling that Jack Sparrow costume from two years ago, but creating a unique larger than life costume.

Last year right after Halloween I came across this article about a guy who made a 'Doctor Octopus' costume.

Geek sweet if you know what I mean.

Today I found this blog with pictures of a costume of Bender.

Admire the awesome working door.

Seems hot and sweaty but this would win my costume contest.

What would/will you make? Can you top this? Want to have a party on Oct. 31st? Let me know what you think.

With all that's happening today with the broken terror plot and the ban on fluids at the airport, this site jumped out at me.

'Bill Biggart's Final Exposures' is about a photographer who was snapping pictures on Sept. 11th when tower one collapsed and killed him. The photos on this site document his last actions while he was still alive. The above photo was the last he had taken. It was digitally time stamped at 10:30 - the time of the second building's collapse.

This is a great pic of Death Valley like you have never seen it before.

[Can you tell that NASA's Image of the Day is a regular stop for me?]
----------------

This site hosts a gallery of Alister Benn's photography along with tutorials she has written about how to take these kind of pictures.

This is called 'Moon over Arches' and was taken in Arches National Park.

Stop, in the name of love. I should try this in my parents backyard.

Whoever said 'two heads are better than one' has never seen this baby.

Syafitri, an Indonesian baby born with two heads, sleeps in a Jakarta hospital August 10, 2006. The four-day-old baby girl weighs 7 pounds and 450 grams. [Reuters]

This does not appear to be photoshoped. The link has two more pictures.
