Pics, flicks, music, games and poems

This week is off to another roaring start. I had a great weekend, it made it hard to come back to work. It's hard living the life of a surfer....

Today I came across this Lego character builder called 'The Mini-Mizer'.

You can create all kinds of characters with this reasonably clever tool.

While I'm on the topic of Legos I thought I would also share this site by Eric Charshbarger.

Eric is a master Lego builder and his site is a portfolio of all of his as-large-as-life creations.

Look at all of those Lego bins in the background!! What's better than Lego Sorting Goodness!!!!!

Every once an a while a tune come out on the radio that I cannot get out of my head. This was the case in the 80's when Bobby McFerin released his hit 'Don't Worry Be Happy'. Today I came across a flash tool that allows you to play with the different parts of the song.

Relive the 80's with this tune stuck in your head till Christmas!

While my son and I were driving to the BYU football game on Saturday, we were talking about how there are things in the world that are unique. He asked me how people knew that every snowflake was different. I said they probably figure it out mathematically because it is to hard to take a picture of them before they melt.

This is a picture of a snowflake at 300 um.

'Well now, isn't that special'

This story speaks for itself.

On Friday I shard a video in the blog of what some people think is the best Zombie movie ever made. Today I would like to share a video called 'Nosferatu'.

The first, if not the best, vampire movie ever made.

In keeping with the pre-Halloween theme that has infected this blog over the past few weeks. I would like to share with you this NASA photo of a profile of a skull floating in space.

Speaking of scary things, my picks from last week were not the greatest. It's hard enough to think that Utah may win another game but to post there logo on this site and have them lose two weeks in a row, man I'm Homer!!!

I will try and post the new picks in the next blog!

That's it for today.
